London, England (12 June, 2024) – BOXXER today announced that this Saturday’s blockbuster event in London, headlined by Chris Billam-Smith vs Richard Riakporhe for the WBO Cruiserweight World Championship, will air live in more than 150 countries, delivering another night of world-class boxing to fight fans around the globe..

BOXXER’s Game On event will take place at Selhurst Park, the home stadium of Premier League football club Crystal Palace, in south London; and air LIVE and exclusively on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action in the UK & Ireland. US fight fans can watch the action LIVE and exclusively on NBC’s Peacock; and FIGHT SPORTS holds exclusive rights in over 30 countries around the world.

Defending champion Chris ‘The Gentleman’ Billam-Smith and challenger Riakporhe, a diehard fan of Crystal Palace fighting on home turf, will face off in a truly 50/50 contest with genuine bad blood between the pair, who first fought in 2019 at a much earlier stage of their careers, with Riakporhe winning a controversial split decision.

Since then, both fighters’ careers have progressed significantly – with Billam-Smith (19-1) not losing since and going on to pick up a number of titles before winning the world championship against the previously undefeated Lawrence Okolie last year, in an unforgettable night at The Vitality Stadium, the home of Premier League team AFC Bournemouth.

Riakporhe remains undefeated and has established himself as the most dangerous knockout artist in the division, boasting a 17-0 record with 13 explosive KOs.

In front of thousands of fans and an electric atmosphere this Saturday, the winner will be able to put the rivalry to bed before targeting major unification fights in the division.

A stacked undercard includes elite light-heavyweight prospect and viral star Ben Whittaker; Isaac Chamberlain vs Jack Massey in a domestic clash for the European Cruiserweight Championship; light-heavyweight contender Dan Azeez, and more.

BOXXER founder and CEO, Ben Shalom, said: “The main event on Saturday has all the makings for a classic, between two explosive and come-forward fighters, in a 50/50 and career-defining match-up. Our success in securing coverage with tier-one broadcast platforms internationally is testament to both the quality of the show and BOXXER’s growing international footprint. We’re delighted fans around the world will be able to tune in to this blockbuster summer stadium showdown.”
