BOXXER ANNOUNCES WHO DARES GYMS AS OFFICIAL EVENT PARTNER OF BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING EVENT IN BOURNEMOUTH ON DECEMBER 10TH
BOXXER is proud to announce Who Dares Gyms as the official event partner for the upcoming BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING event in Bournemouth on December 10th.
The beachfront battle features WBO world cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith defending his title against Mateusz Masternak, the world’s #5 ranked contender.
Founded by Leo Walker, a 20-year veteran of elite British military units, and Jason Carl Fox, a star of Channel 4 show SAS: Who Dares Wins, along with Bournemouth-based entrepreneur Joe Ashford Ellis, Who Dares Gyms brings military fitness expertise to the public.
The gym’s branding will be prominently showcased across physical and digital assets created by BOXXER in the lead-up to and during the event, reaching sports fans globally.
“People talk about being ‘fighting fit’ because it’s widely understood that boxing at the top level requires the highest fitness standards of any professional sport. The same is true for the elite special forces units the Who Dares Gyms founders spent half their lives in. Ultimate fitness is a necessity in those units, so there’s a natural synergy between our two brands and what they represent,” said BOXXER CEO Ben Shalom.

BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING marks BOXXER’s fourth event in Bournemouth, with each prior event headlined by Billam-Smith resulting in total sell-outs.
Billam-Smith’s last outing was at the Bournemouth AFC stadium in May and saw him become the world cruiserweight champion in front of a sold-out crowd at the home of his beloved football club.
