With extensive combat sport pedigree and a surname that is set to turn heads amongst the boxing community, all eyes will be on 28-year-old Brighton born Seb Eubank (2-0) – the son of former super middleweight boxing champion Chris Eubank and brother to current WBA interim middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr.
Seb comes from a line of boxing royalty, so it is no surprise that ever since he was born his life has revolved around the sport. From an early age it was clear that he had inherited the famous Eubank boxing genes and he started to show real talent in the ring from the age of just eight.
Now Dubai-based, those that train closely with him will tell you that he is in possession of the famous Eubank knockout power. There is no doubt that this will stand him in good stead when it comes to the short format of this competition.
He enters the tournament following a successful amateur career with Brighton & Hove ABC and he recently walked away the winner of his debut MMA fight out in Abu Dubai.
He will be coming into this tournament full of confidence and will be looking to continue his unbeaten professional record in the ring after wins against Kamil Kulczyk and Remigijus Ziausys.
He has everything to prove and will be putting it all on the line as he looks to follow in his famous fathers’ footsteps and win a title of his own on the night.
Seb became vegan four years ago and in his spare time he writes poetry, he has been honing this skill with a view to writing music in the future.
He said: “Ultimate Boxxer is a completely new experience for me as I have never taken part in a format like it. Each fight is only three rounds which definitely suits my style of fighting.”
