A massive European night is coming to Barnsley as Callum Simpson faces Ivan Zucco for the European Super Middleweight Title on Saturday, June 7 at Oakwell Stadium, presented by BOXXER, live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland.

It will be Simpson’s toughest test to date, and the Barnsley boxer is calling on the passionate club fanbase to turn Oakwell into a fortress and support his battle to overcome an undefeated opponent.

Zucco, from Piemonte, Italy, has risen through the rankings with a series of impressive performances. The 29-year-old, unbeaten in his 21 professional contests, is a former WBC International Champion, who has stopped 18 of his opponents inside the distance.

Jeffers (20-0, 7 KOs) has been calling for big fights ever since his English Title triumph over Zak Chelli in July 2023. The 27-year-old has extended his unbeaten record with wins over Germaine Brown, Darren Johnstone, Joshua Quartey and Ricardo Lara, and now aims to make a statement against the Louisiana native Hemphill.

Hemphill (18-2, 11 KOs), known as ‘Silky’,  went the distance with former IBF World Super Middleweight Champion William Scull last year on the undercard of Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s unified world title defence against Jamie Munguia at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 4th.
