BOXXER INKS PARTNERSHIP WITH INTEGRITAS PROPERTY GROUP

BOXXER INKS PARTNERSHIP WITH INTEGRITAS PROPERTY GROUP

London, England (6th December, 2023) – BOXXER is delighted to announce a new partnership with Integritas Property Group, an ethical property developer based in the North West of England

Located in the heart of Liverpool’s city centre, IPG’s mission is to redefine property developments, transforming them into exceptional, unique, and thriving rental properties. Boasting an expert team and building only on brownfields and derelict sites, IPG prides itself on ethical development and works closely with investors, construction companies, and landowners to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standard.

BOXXER shows air LIVE and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland, after the leading UK sports broadcaster signed a four-year deal with BOXXER in 2021. BOXXER’s international footprint was galvanised significantly on the signing of a long-term and exclusive US broadcast partnership with NBC Sports, in October this year. The rapidly-growing promotion is home to a world-class stable of fighters including Joshua Buatsi, Chris Billam-Smith, Savannah Marshall, Caroline Dubois, Richard Riakporhe, Adam Azim and many more.

The partnership will see IPG positioned across all BOXXER’s pre-promotional activity in the lead-up to its forthcoming events, including press conferences, open workouts and weigh-ins. Extensive in-arena exposure on fight night will include IPG branding on the ring canvas, toblerones, venue screens and barriers; and mentions by the MC during the live broadcast.

The partnership will commence with BOXXER’s next event on Sunday 10th December at the Bournemouth International Centre, as hometown hero Chris Billam-Smith defends his WBO Cruiserweight World Championship against dangerous Polish Powerhouse Mateusz Masternak, in front of a sell-out crowd. BOXXER’s stacked schedule continues into the new year, as Natasha Jonas and Mikaela Mayer face off for the IBF Welterweight World Championship on 20th January in Liverpool, followed by Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez’s scintillating light-heavyweight clash at Wembley Arena on 3rd February.

BOXXER’s founder and CEO Ben Shalom said: “It’s great to announce this new partnership with Integritas Property Group, ahead of a huge week in Bournemouth for Chris Billam-Smith’s maiden world title defence. Both BOXXER and IPG originally hail from the North West and we’re united in our belief in the transformative effects boxing can have on people’s lives. We look forward to kicking off the partnership with an electric night of world title action this weekend, followed by a huge start to 2024.”

Commenting on the partnership, Mitchell Walsh, Managing Director at IPG said: “All of us here at IPG are extremely proud to announce our new partnership with BOXXER. Boxing has always been an important part of my life, and to be able to combine both my passion for property and boxing is a dream come true. BOXXER continues to show the incredibly positive impact boxing delivers to our local communities, and with another star-studded night arriving this Sunday in Bournemouth, the future is looking bright for all involved.”

The Opening Round: Adam Azim v Franck Petitjean

The Opening Round: Adam Azim v Franck Petitjean

Bet £10 on Adam Azim v Franck Petitjean and get £30 in Free Bets – New customers only. T&Cs apply.

Drawing comparisons to the legendary ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed, the supremely talented Adam Azim appears destined to become the next face of British boxing.

The 21-year-old’s rapid rise also draws parallels with Amir Khan’s ascent in the sport, with Azim determined to get his hands on a world title at an even younger age than the decorated Bolton fighter who became a world champion aged 22 in 2009.

Azim’s meeting with experienced French southpaw Franck Petitjean is the latest step towards his goal of becoming a world champion, with the European super-lightweight belt on the line at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.

The undefeated Slough boxer will be keen to make a statement on Saturday night after a couple of points victories in recent outings against Santos Reyes and Aram Faniian, so don’t be surprised if Azim goes looking for the knockout.

Unsurprisingly, the youthful Azim is the overwhelming favourite in this bout at odds of 1/14, with the 35-year-old title holder Petitjean the underdog at 8/1.

Any chance for British fight fans to catch one of the country’s biggest prospects in action ought not to be missed, with bet365’s resident boxing expert Rob Tebbutt backing Azim to secure an emphatic victory in Wolverhampton this weekend.

“In recent times we haven’t seen those early explosive finishes from Azim, but I think he returns back to his prolific best this weekend against an opponent who, for me, isn’t the strongest European champion out there,” he told bet365’s Sports and Betting News site.

“I expect Azim to get the job done early, in good fashion and inside the first six rounds, which you can get at a very tasty 11/4.

“If you fancy even more value than that then you could look at the 13/2 on offer for the British fighter to win this fight ‘Between Rounds 1 – 4’.

“France’s Petitjean is a southpaw, but he isn’t all that tricky, and I just feel that Azim is going to be hitting that target regularly.”

Watch Rob Tebbutt’s bet365 tipping video HERE.

The showdown between Azim and Petitjean is not the only title fight on this exciting BOXXER card, with Black Country fighter Tyler Denny (3/10) taking on Italian veteran Matteo Signani (5/2) in front of his home crowd with the European belt on the line.

Rob Tebbutt is confident that English middleweight champion Denny has what it takes to ensure there are two British fighters crowned European champions in Wolverhampton this weekend.
“I actually really fancy Denny’s chances of capturing the coveted strap in Wolverhampton, and feel that he will end the evening as the new European middleweight champion,” he said.

“Signani is 44 years of age now let’s not forget, and he hasn’t boxed at the very highest level, despite having a long and successful career.

“I will be looking at Denny to get the job done via Decision, which is priced up at 4/6 – not the biggest price in the world admittedly.

“So if you are looking for a little more value then I also feel there is some in Denny getting to Signani during the second half of the fight, so ‘Between Rounds 7 – 12’ at 6/1.”

bet365 are also offering Bet Boosts for both of these title fights put on by BOXXER, meaning you can take advantage of even BIGGER prices and BOOSTED Bet Builders as British boxers Adam Azim and Tyler Denny aim to become European champions on home soil.

The Sports & Betting News team have also put together a comprehensive All You Need To Know guide for the main event between Azim and Petitjean, as well as a detailed Tale of the Tape article which houses all of the vital statistics of the two fighters.

BUATSI vs AZEEZ – 3 February 2024, OVO Arena Wembley

ABOUT

  • Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez’s highly-anticipated WBA World Title Final Eliminator has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 3rd
  • The #1 and #2 world ranked light heavyweights will now clash at The OVO Arena, Wembley due to a lack of available dates at The O2
  • All the action will be shown live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and Peacock in the USA
  • Adam Azim makes first defence of European Super Lightweight Title against undefeated former champion Enock Poulsen

The WBA World Title Final Eliminator clash between #1 and #2 world ranked light heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 3 and will be broadcast live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and Peacock in the USA.

Buatsi (17-0, 3 KOs) and Azeez (20-0, 13 KOs) were set to meet on October 21st at The O2 but a back injury suffered by Azeez in his final training session forced the postponement of their all-British showdown. The rescheduled contest will now take place at The OVO Arena, Wembley due to a lack of available dates at The O2.

Adam Azim makes the first defence of his EBU European Super Lightweight Title against undefeated former champion Enock Poulsen.

Azim (10-0, 7 KOs) dethroned Franck Petitjean in front of a capacity crowd in Wolverhampton last month to be crowned European king. A spectacular feat for the 21-year-old, who became the quickest Englishman to win the European Title, surpassing the achievements of former champions Spencer Oliver and ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed, also making him the first British-Pakistani to lift the blue and gold belt.

Poulsen (14-0, 5 KOs) is no stranger to European success himself, having also defeated Petitjean to claim the title in April 2022. The undefeated Dane, who was ringside to watch Azim’s crowning moment, believes he is the rightful holder of the belt having never lost it in the ring and is eager to recapture his title and end Azim’s meteoric rise.

Ben Whittaker will look to steal the show as he returns to action on the undercard.

Whittaker closed the year in style with a highlight reel knockout of Stiven Leonetti Dredhaj in Bournemouth. Now 5-0, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Silver medallist is aiming to kick-start the New Year with another spectacular performance when he takes on Swiss-based French fighter Khalid Graidia over eight-rounds.

Rising featherweight star Francesca Hennessy and heavyweight hope Jeamie TKV are also confirmed for action in the capital. Hennessy, who has wowed fans with her explosive style since joining the paid ranks last year, goes in search of her third professional victory, while TKV looks to get back to winning ways having suffered his first career defeat to Igor Macedo in September 2023.

JONAS vs MAYER – 20 January 2024, M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool

ABOUT

  • Two-weight World Champion Natasha Jonas will defend IBF World Title against former unified World Champion Mikaela Mayer at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on January 20th
  • Newly-crowned British Champion Jack Cullen rematches former English Champion Zak Chelli
  • Aaron McKenna versus Linus Udofia confirmed for Jonas-Mayer undercard on January 20th at M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool
  • All the action will be shown live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and ESPN+ in the USA

Two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas will defend her IBF World Welterweight Title against former unified world champion Mikaela Mayer in a landmark night for women’s boxing as two of the sport’s biggest stars meet in the centre of the ring on Saturday, January 20th at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and ESPN+ in the USA.

Jonas (14-2-1, 9 KOs) will be making a first defence of the IBF crown she claimed with an emphatic stoppage win over Canadian Kandi Wyatt earlier this year,  having previously unified the WBC, WBO and IBF World Super Welterweight Titles.

Standing in the opposite corner will be U.S. star Mayer (19-1, 5 KOs), a fellow Olympian and the former IBF and WBO World Super Featherweight Champion. The Los Angeles native was one of the stars of BOXXER’s historic women’s night last year, and after capturing the WBC interim World Lightweight Title earlier this year, Mayer will be moving up in weight once again.

Newly crowned British Champion Jack Cullen also returns to action in Liverpool defending his Lonsdale strap against former foe Zak Chelli. Cullen (22-4-1, 10 KOs) scored a memorable third-round TKO win over Mark Heffron in September to claim the British and Commonwealth titles. ‘Little Leaver’s Meat Cleaver’ will now square off against former English Champion Chelli (14-2-1, 7 KOs) in a repeat of their all-action 2020 contest that ended in a draw.

Karriss Artingstall is back in business following a destructive second-round KO win over Vanessa Bradford on October 21st at York Hall. The 2020 Olympic medallist takes on Lila dos Santos Furtado as she looks to climb the featherweight ranks.

Mark Jeffers defends his English and Commonwealth Silver Super Middleweight Title against Germaine Brown. Jeffers claimed the English and Commonwealth Silver Titles with points win over Zak Chelli after accepting a short notice fight last year. The undefeated Chorley boxer makes his first defence against Brown, who will be aiming to recapture the English Title he held in 2022.

Former IBO World Cruiserweight Champion Jack Massey, who took Joseph Parker the distance in a ten-round heavyweight contest in Manchester last year, returns to the ring and the 200lbs limit as he looks to kick start his 2024 with a victory in Liverpool.

BOXXER ANNOUNCES WHO DARES GYMS AS OFFICIAL EVENT PARTNER OF BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING EVENT IN BOURNEMOUTH ON DECEMBER 10TH

BOXXER ANNOUNCES WHO DARES GYMS AS OFFICIAL EVENT PARTNER OF BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING EVENT IN BOURNEMOUTH ON DECEMBER 10TH

BOXXER is proud to announce Who Dares Gyms as the official event partner for the upcoming BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING event in Bournemouth on December 10th.

The beachfront battle features WBO world cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith defending his title against Mateusz Masternak, the world’s #5 ranked contender.

Founded by Leo Walker, a 20-year veteran of elite British military units, and Jason Carl Fox, a star of Channel 4 show SAS: Who Dares Wins, along with Bournemouth-based entrepreneur Joe Ashford Ellis, Who Dares Gyms brings military fitness expertise to the public.

The gym’s branding will be prominently showcased across physical and digital assets created by BOXXER in the lead-up to and during the event, reaching sports fans globally.

“People talk about being ‘fighting fit’ because it’s widely understood that boxing at the top level requires the highest fitness standards of any professional sport. The same is true for the elite special forces units the Who Dares Gyms founders spent half their lives in. Ultimate fitness is a necessity in those units, so there’s a natural synergy between our two brands and what they represent,” said BOXXER CEO Ben Shalom.

Who Dares Gyms spokesman Joe Ashford Ellis said, “Being fighting fit is as much about the mind as it is the body. Our programs draw on our extensive knowledge of military training and aim to build our members’ mental strength at the same time as their physical strength. We see our values of hard work, focus and dedication shared by BOXXER’s athletes and we’re proud to be official partners for this December 10th event in Bournemouth.”

BOXXER: RETURN OF THE KING marks BOXXER’s fourth event in Bournemouth, with each prior event headlined by Billam-Smith resulting in total sell-outs.

Billam-Smith’s last outing was at the Bournemouth AFC stadium in May and saw him become the world cruiserweight champion in front of a sold-out crowd at the home of his beloved football club.

BOXXER extends its thanks to all partners in this upcoming event including Everlast, WOW Hydrate, Bet365, Who Dares Gyms and local entrepreneur Joe Ashford Ellis, who has been a key local partner in the Bournemouth region.

BILLAM-SMITH vs MASTERNAK – 10 December 2023, Bournemouth International Centre

RETURN OF THE KING: BILLAM-SMITH DEFENDS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AGAINST MASTERNAK IN BOURNEMOUTH ON SUNDAY DECEMBER 10TH

ABOUT

  • Billam-Smith returns to Bournemouth for first defence of WBO World Cruiserweight Championship
  • World #5-ranked Polish powerhouse Masternak rides six-fight win streak into South Coast showdown, live on Sky Sports
  • 2020 Olympic Silver Medallist Ben Whittaker makes his highly-anticipated ring return against Stiven Leonetti Dredhaj on December 10th
  • South coast stars Michael McKinson and Lewis Edmondson complete action-packed undercard for sold-out show in Bournemouth

The stage is set for another unmissable night of boxing in Bournemouth as local hero Chris Billam-Smith makes a triumphant return to defend his WBO World Cruiserweight Title against Mateusz Masternak on Sunday, December 10 live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and Peacock in the USA.

2020 Olympic Gold Medallist Lauren Price is set to face Italy’s former European Champion Silvia Bortot. Having made history earlier this year by becoming the first female to win a British title, Price (5-0, 1 KO) will be aiming to end 2023 with a statement win against Bortot (11-3-1, 3 KOs), who previously went the distance with former unified world champion Mikael Mayer.

Fellow 2020 Olympic Medallist Ben Whittaker has an opponent set for his hugely-anticipated return to the ring. Future boxing superstar Whittaker (4-0, 3 KOs), who has been wowing crowds around the country with his flamboyant and unorthodox style, returns to the scene of his spectacular pro debut to take on Stiven Leonetti Dredhaj (11-2-1, 3 KOs).

Having impressed on previous visits to Bournmoeuth, Michael McKinson (25-1, 4 KOs) will make the short trip from Portsmouth to take his place on the undercard. The 29-year-old southpaw stopped Lebin Morales last time out at Vitality Stadium and will be hoping a similar victory can set him up for a title run in 2024.

Southampton light heavyweight Lewis Edmondson (7-0, 3 KOs) completes the bill as he looks to extend his unbeaten record against Dmytro Fedas (8-4-2, 5 KOs). ‘The Saint’ claimed his seventh pro win with a technical decision victory over Petar Nosic on the undercard of Billam-Smith’s world championship winning fight in May.

Following his victory over Stanley Stannard in an official eliminator bout during BOXXER’s visit to the Vitality Stadium in May, Bournemouth’s Lee Cutler (13-1, 7 KOs) will face Obi Egbunike (8-2-1, 1 KO) for the vacant English Super Welterweight Title in a potentially show-stealing 50-50 clash.

And fresh from her impressive debut, 18-year-old bantamweight Francesca Hennessy (1-0, 1 KO), the daughter of renowned boxing manager and promoter Mick Hennessy, can continue the perfect start to her professional career when she gets back under the bright lights in Bournemouth.

The Opening Round: Mikael Lawal v Isaac Chamberlain

The Opening Round: Mikael Lawal v Isaac Chamberlain

Bet £10 on Mikael Lawal v Isaac Chamberlain and get £30 in Free Bets – New customers only. T&Cs apply.

Saturday night was supposed to thrust either of Joshua Buatsi or Dan Azeez to the brink of a light-heavyweight world title opportunity.

The build-up had been exhilarating; two bona-fide elite level operators, and close friends, colliding under the bright lights of London’s O2 Arena with one shared goal…

… an opportunity to dethrone the WBA strap-holder, and pound-for-pound star, Dmitry Bivol.

Heartbreakingly, a back injury to Azeez in his final training session has, for now, put pay to what promised to be a truly enthralling bout; and a potential fight of the year contender.

But as Ben Shalom vowed after that news broke earlier this week; ‘the show must go on’, and my word, doesn’t it just, with another blockbuster instead being propelled to the top of the bill.

The eyes of the boxing fraternity will now hone in on Bethnal Green’s iconic York Hall setting, just six miles south-east of the O2, as foes Mikael Lawal (6/4) and 8/15 betting favourite Isaac Chamberlain finally square off with the British and Commonwealth cruiserweight belts on the line.

The pair were originally due to settle their differences earlier this year before the fight was delayed, and it looked as though they would have to wait even longer after the proposed headliner between Buatsi and Azzez was pulled just a few days before fight night.

But, the loss of that bout has instead cleared the pathway for Lawal and Chamberlain themselves to headline a thankfully re-jigged card at York Hall, and it’s one that bet365’s resident Boxing expert Rob Tebbutt cannot wait for.

“So this Saturday night at York Hall we finally see Mikael Lawal and Isaac Chamberlain lock-horns for the British cruiserweight title, and I really, really like this fight!” he told their Sports & Betting News site.

“There is real bad blood here and definite animosity – we were supposed to see this fight a couple of months ago before Lawal pulled out, as you may remember. There has been a lot of to and from between them since then, and there is genuine needle here, but I think that is going to play into Chamberlain’s hands.

“He is the more experienced operator, he has fought Lawrence Okolie, Chris Billam-Smith and even Dylan Bregeon last time out too, so I will be backing him to get the job done, and get it done inside the distance at 9/4 this weekend.

“We all know about Lawal’s punch-power, but he is very inexperienced, especially when you compare him to Isaac Chamberlain, and I just wonder whether Lawal will be able to handle that bear-pit atmosphere, at the top of the bill, inside York Hall.

“Chamberlain has been there, seen it and done it all before and he knows that his career is on the line this Saturday night, which is why I am backing him ‘By Stoppage’ at 9/4.

“I also like the look of the 4/1 for him to win ‘Between Rounds 7 – 12’; he has shown he can last late in a hard fight, and he could very well take Lawal out late on, so they will be my two betting picks for the weekend.”

Watch Rob Tebbutt’s bet365 tipping video HERE

This weekend’s stacked card also includes the equally as exciting Commonwealth super-welterweight championship showdown, and a real ‘pick-em’ fight between 4/6 hopeful Louis Greene and the narrow 6/5 outsider Sam Gilley.

The talented Karriss Artingstall – a massive 1/12 favourite – also features against former world title challenger ‘Vicious’ Vanessa Bradford (7/1), whilst hot prospect Michael Hennessy Jr (2/5) will tackle Joe Laws (2/1) in another fight that promises to deliver explosiveness and excitement.

bet365 are also offering Bet Boosts across all of Saturday night’s BOXXER action, meaning you can take advantage of even BIGGER prices on the headline bout and the full undercard, including BOOSTED Bet Builders on both Lawal and Chamberlain.

The Sports & Betting News team have also put together a comprehensive All You Need To Know guide for the main event, as well as a detailed Tale of the Tape article which houses all of the vital statistics of the two fighters.
